Seta Tala races away

After last week’s Challenge Cup Victory Mayfield are again in cup action this week and again it's a Sunday fixture in the Oldham Standard Cup.

Mayfield begin their defence of the trophy against Fitton Hill at Hathershaw School.

Mayfield coaches’ Calland and Butterworth will have a large squad of players to select from and may be tempted to use some of the fringe players.

Although they will not be underestimating the Oldham side they will be hoping to come away with a victory and another step towards a cup final.

Also on Sunday there are two games scheduled at the Mayfield Sports Centre with the u15s entertaining Greetland while the u16s play host to Brighouse Rangers.
