Rochdale versus Barnet postponed

Rochdale saw their League Two game against Barnet postponed this afternoon (Saturday 22 December) due to a frozen pitch.

Many Barnet fans had already arrived at Spotland when, after a 1.00pm inspection, the referee declared the conditions too dangerous to play.

This was the second home game running that Dale have had to call the match off due to pitch conditions.

With the game now likely to be played during midweek in 2008 the club must be hoping the weather improves soon if a fixture backlog is not to cause end of season problems.
