Reuben Noble-Lazarus join Dale on loan from Barnsley
Date published: 27 October 2014
Rochdale AFC Manager Keith Hill has bolstered his attacking options after securing the services of Reuben Noble-Lazarus.
The 21-year-old forward has joined Dale on loan until January from Barnsley.
A graduate of the Tykes’ Academy, Reuben made history after becoming the youngest ever player to make his Football League debut. He appeared from the bench for Barnsley in their draw away Ipswich Town in September 2008, aged just 15 years and 45 days.
He went on to captain the Barnsley U18s and has made more than 40 appearances for the first team since his debut.
Highly regarded at Oakwell, he signed a new two year deal at the club last February, contracting himself to the League One side until the summer of 2015.
His move to Rochdale is his second loan spell away from the Tykes, after spending a four game stint at Scunthorpe United last season.
