Mayfield Rugby League youngsters win RFL prize

Mayfield Rugby League under 8s collecting the winners cheque from Leeds Rhinos and England Rugby League star Ryan Hall
Mayfield's under 8s and 9s rugby teams were guests at the Rugby League Championship Finals Day on Sunday and the 8s came away with £250 towards club funds by winning the half time fancy dress parade.
10,000 Headingley Stadium spectators cheered on the 'Elves from Lapland' and 'Penguins of Mayfield' as they waddled round the pitch.
Coach Simon Howe said: "The players and parents had a great day.”
