Wigan Warriors Rugby League team visit Full Contact Performance Centre in Castleton
Wigan Warriors Rugby League team visited Full Contact Performance Centre in Castleton on Thursday 7 August.
Full Contact Performance Centre is a gym which specialises in martial arts and cage fighting.
Martin Stapleton, co-owner of FCPC, said: “A friend of mine from Wigan Warriors came to watch my last fight and said that the club would be interested in participating in a training day at FCPC.”
“I had a career in the military before embarking on a wrestling career, so the aim of the day was to give the team some transferable skills from my past experiences.”
The team were put through their paces with strength and conditioning activities in the morning, followed by wrestling drills and a motivational speech in the afternoon.
The day was filmed by Wigan Warriors TV and Super League TV.
