Unfinished business

Rochdale Hornets take on Leigh Centurions for the second week running this Sunday, this time in a Tetley's Challenge Cup Round Four fixture.

In a Kingstone Press Championship league fixture last week the Hornets were denied a victory against the unbeaten league leaders and promotion favourites by controversial decisions which saw at least two perfectly good tries chalked off, one which would have brought Hornets level at 28-28 with the Leigh on the ropes and five minutes to play.

The meeting on Sunday is set to be a cracker as the Hornets look to avenge the defeat while Leigh, who will take over the Willbuts Lane stand with bus loads of supporters, will look to progress to the next round looking to draw and beat a Super League club with their full time squad.

Hornets have a couple of injury doubts leading into the game and could see the return of hooker James Dandy following a rib injury alongside utility back Sean Casey. Coach Talbot may also give giant prop Liam Gilchrist a first hit out of the season as he looks to add some extra size to the Hornets pack.

The battle will commence at the earlier kick off time of 2.00pm, to accomodate the live fifth round draw, which takes place on BBC2 at the conclusion of the game.

Tickets cost £12 adults, £10 concessions and under 16s are admitted free.
