Rochdale Swarm - home and TV debut!

The Rochdale Swarm make their long awaited home debut on Sunday against the Tag Merit League`s title favourites, the Hull FC Irregulars.

The match takes place at Balderstone Park thanks to the support shown to the Swarm from Mayfield Mustangs Peter Duffy.

The expectations are of a good crowd with Hornets fans coming along to cheer on their supporters team, alongside the curious keen to see the new Tag League in action.

The game has an 11.30am kick off to allow everybody after the match to make their way up to Spotland for the Challenge Cup Tie between Hornets and Hull FC.

The Swarm players are asked to meet at 10.30am at Balderstone Park.

Away from the pitch the Swarm are certainly making waves as they have been approached by Channel M Television with a view to the Swarm featuring on Channel M`s Rugby League Show, Code XIII.

The TV Cameras will be coming down to one of the Rochdale Swarm's Tuesday night training sessions to film the action and interview those involved.

Everyone at the Swarm is excited at the prospect of showing the Club and Tag Rugby League to a new larger audience.
