Date published: 15 August 2013

Shake It Supplements are the new sponsors and suppliers of training and match day supplements for Rochdale Football Club for the 2013-2014 season.

Scott Shashua, CEO of Shake It Supplements, said: "We are delighted to announce our sponsorship deal with Rochdale AFC, which shows just a glimpse of the significant level of hard work and dedication our team has maintained since starting the company in November 2012.

"We would like to wish Rochdale all the best for the forthcoming 2013/2014 season, and we are absolutely certain that we will gain the deserved recognition of how supplements can have a positive impact within the sporting world."

The partnership places further emphasis on the importance of sports science, and Dale's head of training and match day analysis, Dan Fradley commented: "I am ecstatic to have Shake It Supplements on board with us this season. I have been keen to develop a relationship with Scott and his company since joining the club in February. This new partnership will help supply the players with the vital nutrition both pre, during and post performance. Giving the players the right fuel during these vital times is essential when preparing them to perform during a match day."

Ross Preston, the club's lead sport scientist is also delighted with the new partnership. He added: “On a daily basis we demand the best out of our players, so it is only right we supply the players with the best nutrition possible. With Shake It on board this allows us to do so within our budget, using only the best products.”
