Ruth Walczak rowing for GB in the World Cup Regatta in Lucerne
Ruth Walczak has been selected as part of the GB Rowing Team for the World Championships in Chungju, Korea later this month.
The eight-day regatta takes place from 25 August to 1 September.
Ruth, from Rochdale, will race in the women’s single scull.
The 24-year-old will be aiming for a medal having fallen just short of a place on the podium at each of this year’s three world cup events, finishing an agonising fourth each time.
The team leaves for Korea next week.
