Grant leaves Dale for Blackpool

Bobby Grant has left Dale for Championship side Blackpool.

The 23-year-old has signed a two-year-deal with the Seasiders after agreeing personal terms and passing a medical. An undisclosed fee has been agreed between the two clubs for the striker.

Grant joined Dale from Scunthorpe United last summer on a two-year-deal, a move which signalled his second spell at Spotland following a two-month loan stay during the 2010/11 campaign.

He made 36 appearances for Rochdale last term, scoring 16 goals.

A Dale spokesman said: "We’d like to thank Bobby for his hard-work and endeavour during his time at Spotland and wish him the very best of luck for his time in the Championship."
