Mayfield preview
Date published: 29 June 2013
Mayfield are back in action on today (29 June) after last week's rest, their opponents are Bradford Dudley Hill. The Yorkshire outfit have lost their last two games and will be out to remedy that today as they push for the promotion places.
Bradford Dudley Hill are three points and two places above Mayfield and an evenly matched game is on the cards.
Mayfield will be travelling over the Pennines with only one thing on their minds, victory. After beating Waterhead in their last outing Mayfield have trained hard and are looking to improve further.
Sam Butterworth is back in contention for a place after a three game ban and Si Moore will face a late fitness test. If these two are back this will be the strongest side Mayfield have fielded for a while. It also will be the first time Butterworth and new signing Lewis Sheridan will have played together and that is an exciting prospect, with Sheridan’s explosive pace and creativity giving his side a new dimension. This is coupled with Butterworth’s organisation.
Mayfield NWML are also back in action with the visit of Waterhead. Mayfield are sitting in third place in division 3 and are enjoying a purple patch despite the fixture disruption they have experienced.
Fixtures 29/06/13
NCL div 1 Dudley Hill v Mayfield. Kick off 2.30
NWML div3 Mayfield v Waterhead. Kick off 2.30
