New recruits for Rochdale

Rochdale AFC’s preparations for the new season continued today (Friday 21 June) with the addition of a second recruit in as many days.

Matty Lund has followed Ashley Eastham in committing his future to the club.

Lund, a 22-year-old midfielder, has penned a two year deal, effective from July 1. He is familiar with League Two football after spending time on loan at Bristol Rovers and Southend United last season from his parent club Stoke City.

Defender Eastham, who is also 22, signed a two year deal with the club beginning on July 1st following a medical earlier this week.

The Blackpool defender spent time on loan last seaosn at Fleetwood, Notts County and most notably, Bury.
