A spokeman for the Club said: "The Club has had another great onfield season, winning numerous honours over the year. F
"For the first time since we started out as a club some 18 years ago it is the older teams that are performing more strongly than our younger ones. We believe this is down to how we develop players at Bridge and allow them the space and time to grow.
"It is great to see another excellent season of success on the pitch, with trophies and medals all around the Club.
"The ‘win at all costs mentality’ is one we do not subscribe to as a Club. We are about winning, but from the perspective of allowing kids to play, grow and develop, outside of the fear of being vilified by a ‘Mr’ or a ‘Mrs’ Angry on the touchline criticising them every time they make a mistake because they believe it is all about their child or their team winning.
"It is crucial to remember that kids don’t make mistakes on purpose, when they make one they know before anyone, all we can do is encourage them and hope they learn from it and move on."
The Club is now looking to recruit new players across a range of ages, if you are interested, especially at Under 7s and Under 13s, then please contact us 07796 641 300.
