Rochdale’s game against Peterborough will go ahead at Spotland. The pitch was covered in an inch of snow overnight but thanks to the use of pitch covers borrowed from Oldham and the help of an army of volunteers it has been cleared and is ready for action.
The onus will now be on the team to repay the fans for their hard work, although supporters can still play their part by turning up in droves for what is set to be one of the games of the day in League Two.
