Commercial UpdateShirt number 15 has been sold to Geoff and Marlene Harrison ndash; meaning that 18 squad numbers have been sponsored. The club thanks all those people who have sponsored a squad number.
 
Two more Associate Match Day Packages have also been sold meaning that there are only have four packages left to have achieved the goal of all matches having four sponsors.

The matches left promise to be real thrillers and are against Widnes, Batley, Dewsbury and Whitehaven.

Anyone wishing to be involved should again call the club.

The event was great success, the lcub thank all who took part and for the money they raised.

Hornets Quiz NightHornets wish to express publicly a big, big thank you to Steve Butterworth, Landlord of the Red Lion, Whitworth who did a fantastic job hosting their quiz night. Steve as well as MC-ing the event provided all the questions, pens, paper, etc. and fed the all quizzers free of charge. The quiz itself was won by the quot;Know Nothings", captained by Craig Nagy just pipping guests from down the road, Spellys quot;Swinton  cheaters!"   A fantastic turn out by Hornets fans had the pub full to the rafters, a superb fun event and one the club intends to do again.   Mr Butterworth also donated a meal for a family of four as a raffle prize.  All in all a great night.
