Hornets and their Community Development officer continue to go from strength to strength. As part of the Hornets/Northern Rail 'on track safety for school project', Hornets have a unique opportunity to link with Northern Rail and the Secondary schools in the borough as part of an education initiative.

As a part of the venture there will be a creative writing challenge and a track safety aspect to keep children off railway lines and away from train stations.
