Rochdale & District Sunday Football League Annual Presentation Evening
Date published: 03 June 2007
The Rochdale amp; District Sunday Football League Annual Presentation Evening took place at Richmond Hall on Friday 1 June and what promised to be an excellent evening did not disappoint.
The main purpose of the evening followed with the awards were presented by Howard Ryder (General Sales Manager) and Wayne Melvin (Customer Liason Manager), of the evenings sponsors Carcraft, along with League President Eddie Melvin.
With the awards presented well known comedian Venn Tracey took the stage and had the audience in stitches with his combination of jokes and slick put downs of would be hecklers!
The evening continued until the midnight hour with a set by local band Crimson Scarlet followed by dancing to the music played by DJ Dave Hennigan, who played a superb part in helping to hold the series of events together with his unique style of delivery and mix of music.
