Rochdale Football Club has announced that next season's black and white replica kit won't be available at the end of April and the sale of the shirt has been postponed until July.
The club is intending to make up for fans disappointment by ensuring next season's kit launch will be the "biggest and best ever seen", with the management team of Keith Hill and Dave Flitcroft on hand serving the new shirts in the club shop.
Dale manager Keith Hill said: "I'm looking forward to meeting you in the club shop and I know Dave is too. The new kit is sure to be a winner and that's what we like, winners."
The new kit will be on sale during the first week of July and Dale's management duo are expected to be behind the counter on Friday 6 July from 3.30pm for a couple of hours. The new shirt will also act as an invitation to the team photograph event that will take place on Friday 23 July from 2.30pm at Spotland when new shirt owners will have the opportunity to line up with the players, including any new signings, and get a chance to meet and chat with the players.
