Saha and Neville out of Cup Final

Rochdale Online staff with tickets for Saturday’s FA Cup final between Manchester United and Chelsea were disappointed to hear that striker Louis Saha has been ruled out of the game.
Saha has been struggling with knee and hamstring problems and 24 hours after it was revealed that skipper Gary Neville would miss the Wembley trip, Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed the French forward is sidelined as well.
“Louis is out,” said Ferguson. “He picked up the knee injury in Milan and we did another scan on Monday to identify the problem more clearly.”
The news completes a miserable cup final quintet for Saha, who was not picked for Newcastle in their 1999 FA Cup Final defeat to United, was cup–tied when United beat Millwall in 2004 and injured when they lost to Arsenal 12 months later.
In addition, Saha missed France’s World Cup final defeat to Italy last summer through suspension.
Ryan Giggs – who will become only the fourth player in history to win the FA Cup five times should United triumph – will captain the side.
