Royal Navy and Rochdale Hornets Rugby Festival 11 July

This is the first venture of its kind and everyone at Hornets is very excited!

32 schools will be taking part in a Festival of Rugby at Hopwood Hall College on 11 July from 10.00am onwards. It is anticipated that the Semis and Final will take place from 2.00pm onwards.

Paul Sculthorpe will be on hand to present trophies and shields. Pop along and offer your support to the youngsters.

The Navy will be on hand with a variety of exhibitions to keep you entertained.

Annual Pontefract Race Trip Friday 20 July

Ticket sales are well under way priced at pound;33.00. The package includes;

• Pre trip buffet (sponsored by Lords the Caterers) ndash; served in the Mitsubishi Lounge with a free glass of Red or White Wine.
• Travel to and from the Race Course ndash; return drop offs at Rochdale or Spotland
• Entry into Pontefract Races

There will also be a lsquo;sweep stake’ competition arranged on the day.

As Hornets plan for the 2008 season they are adding new and exciting sponsorship opportunities designed to attract the support of local business.
