Hornets progressed to the fifth round of the Carnegie Challenge Cup with a hard-fought victory at Swinton.

The Hornets trailed 16-10 at the break but roared back in the second half despite ex-Hornet Carl Sneyd going over and converting to extend the home side’s lead.

Ian Sinfield’s try cut the deficit and Chris Hough scored three goals to aid his side’s cause. But it was two tries from Mark Brocklehurst and Andy Isherwood which gave Hornets a superb win.
