Mascot Competition!

Hornets has teamed up with the RFL to offer one lucky person an opportunity to be part of Rugby League history.

This autumn Great Britain will play for the final time on home soil before the team switches to playing as England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland in time for next year’s World Cup in Australia.  As a result the three match Gillette Fusion Test Series against New Zealand will be a historic occasion.

The third of the three Tests will be staged at Wigan’s JJB Stadium on Saturday 10 November.  That is why Hornets, together with the RFL, is looking for a school child aged eight to 10 years to be one of the team mascots and walk out alongside the players of Great Britain and New Zealand just before the big match kicks off.

This superb prize also includes three tickets for each winner, one for the mascot and two for their parents or guardian.

As you would expect tickets for the final Great Britain games on home soil are in huge demand and can be purchased from the RFL Box Office on 0871 226 1313 or by visiting www.rugbyleaguetickets.co.uk.  Tickets prices start from just pound;15.

To be in with a chance of being a mascot simply answer the following question.

What is the Great Britain team’s nickname?

  1. The Panthers
  2. The Tigers
  3. The Lions

The child who answers correctly will be selected at random to be the mascot winners.

Send your completed entries to Rochdale Hornets Rugby League Football Club, PO Box 48, Rochdale OL16 1PE by Sunday 20 September.
