Dale extend Fielding stay

Frank Fielding has extended his stay with Rochdale until the end of the season.

Rochdale have extended the loan of goalkeeper Frank Fielding from Blackburn until the end of the season.

The 20-year old shot stopper has so far played four games for the club, which have yielded seven points.

He was part of the side that kept what was Rochdale's third clean sheet of the season against Notts County last week and although the other games saw Dale concede seven in total, against Lincoln, Dagenham and Aldershot, none of those goals could be blamed on the young goalkeeper.

Fielding should now maintain his place in the side for the rest of the season, with Sam Russell and James Spencer acting as cover.
