Rochdale Football Club is advising supporters to turn up earlier than usual for today's game against Chesterfield. The roads surrounding the Stadium are not exactly flowing at the best of times and with a much larger than normal crowd expected there is likely to be congestion.
Fans without vouchers and with season tickets need to use the correct turnstiles on the day and stewards will be on hand to give directions and help.
A club spokesman said: "Anyone who believes that they can arrive at the ground with just 10 minutes to spare before kick off are almost sure to face congestion."
He suggests arriving early and sampling "the ambience and vastly reduced priced drinks in Studd's Bar".
Voucher holders can present their vouchers at any adult turnstile and get in for just £10.00 - they are however asked not to sit on seats reserved for season ticket holders.
Turnstiles will be open from 1.30pm with the Westrose Leisure Stand only opening to home fans if required on the day.
