Dale's new date with Darlo

Dale keeper Sam Russell will have to wait until February to face his former side.

Rochdale's game at Darlington, which was postponed on Saturday, has been rearranged for Tuesday 24 February.

The game was called off due to a frozen pitch early on Saturday morning ahead of the Dale squad and most supporters departing for the North East.

The decision to call the game off early left the Dale boss somewhat frustrated, and he felt that the decision could have been left a little later to see if the condition of the pitch improved.

The rearranged game is sandwiched between two homes games against Brentford and Grimsby on the last two Saturday's in February.
