Hornets at home to Hunslet in play offs on Sunday

Date published: 13 September 2024

Rochdale Hornets’ qualifying play off game against Hunslet takes place at the Crown Oil Arena this Sunday 15 September.

Hornets leapfrogged Hunslet to secure home advantage in the first week of the play offs, courtesy of an impressive victory over second-placed Keighley Cougars last weekend.

Play off tickets are now on general sale, with visiting fans allocated Block E of the main stand.

It promises to be a blockbuster occasion as both teams look to secure promotion to the Betfred Championship for 2025.

The last meeting between the sides came in June, when the Hornets ran out convincing 48-18 winners on the road, in one of the performances of the season.

If Hornets win this game, they will face Keighley Cougars in a play off semi final.

Their season will not be over if they lose, as they would then face the winner of the elimination play off between Midlands Hurricanes and Workington Town in the other semi final.
