Mayfield's injury problems got worse this week as more and more players knocked on the physio's door. Not the best preparation for one of the toughest games of any season, West Hull, away.
As always, coach Sam Butterworth is optimistic, operating on the principle that you can't bemoan the players that are missing, you can only play with who you've got available. Saturday's game will be a test for sure but it's a game of rugby and Sam will be looking to shock the opposition, as he again draws from the under 18s for this one.
Andy Reid will, as seems to be the norm this season, delay selection to see who he has available after the NCL side squad has been selected. The NWML side are at home to Widnes based Newton Storm.
