Recruitment Solutions (North West) will continue as main sponsors of Rochdale Cricket Club in 2021

Rochdale Cricket Club’s main sponsor, Recruitment Solutions (North West) Ltd has agreed a new sponsorship deal for 2021.

The firm continues to support the club, which is currently restricted by the Covid-19 lockdown, and has agreed a deal for its tenth year as Rochdale’s named sponsor.

Rochdale Cricket Club’s chairman Mark Reynolds is naturally delighted. “These are very difficult times, not just financially but emotionally too,” he said. “This news, along with the continuing support of our other main sponsors helps take some of the pressure off and enables us to be in decent shape when we can get back onto the field.”

When the lockdown and restrictions were first imposed in March, the Lancashire League set a provisional start date for 4 July. However, in a letter to clubs last week, League Secretary Mike Bibby wrote that this restart date was now “deemed highly unlikely".

Ground staff continue to keep the fields at Redbrook maintained for the anticipated restart.
