12-year-old Callum Turner won the Junior English Thai Boxing title after a fight in Stretford on Sunday (4 November).
Callum, who trains with Middleton Martial Arts Academy, defeated his opponent Dylan Collinson, of Phoenix Muay Thai, in the fourth round through knees to the body.
Callum has been training at the academy for around 18 months.
John Barlow, who runs Middleton Martial Arts Academy with Grzegorz Kubiac, said: “We are always very proud when our junior members do Middleton proud.
"A massive well done to Callum on winning the Junior English Thai Boxing title and not forgetting some great performances by the rest of the Middleton Juniors.”
Middleton Martial Arts Academy was set up in Spring Mill, Cheapside, around 18 months ago by John and Grzeg, who run the club in their spare time.
