Rochdale Football Club supporting Stoptober
Dale is one of 28 football clubs getting behind the Stoptober campaign, which is now in its sixth year.
Stoptober has inspired over one million people to make a quit attempt to-date, so if you’re thinking about giving up smoking, use this month to give up the cigarettes.
Keith Hicks, from the club’s Community Trust, commented: “We are all getting behind Stoptober here at Rochdale AFC, and encouraging fans to get involved this year.
“If you quit for 28 days this October, you are five times more likely to quit for good so Stoptober is the perfect time to try and kick the habit. If you are thinking of taking part this year, take a look at all the help and support that’s available to you via the Stoptober website.”
It is not too late to get involved.
