Sai Martial Arts Success

Sai Martial Arts attended the UK Martial Arts Association Black Belt Hall Of Fame Awards night in Gosport, Hampshire.
There where three awards on offer for the team from Healey, and they won all three!
- Sensei Jamie Ward won the UK Martial Arts Coach of the Year
- Daniel Hitchings won the Martial Arts Dedication Award
- Andrew Odgen won the Junior Student of the Year.
The weekend involved twoi days in Gosport training with many of the world's best martial artisit's including the British Army close quarter combat team and head instructor, and numerous other martial artists from Iran, Holland, Germany, Ireland and the UK. This was followed by an awards night where the trophies where presented.
This is the end to a hugely successful year for the club which started with the winning of the World Open Combat Ju-jitsu Championships and other numerous gold/silver and bronze medals throughout the year.
For the coming year Sai are going to be taking many more of junior students into competition around the country hoping to replicate this years success.
