Rochdale Mayfield are back in action on Saturday; they travel to Hull where they face West Hull.

West Hull have an excellent pedigree, and while having an average opening to this season are a team not to be taken lightly.

Mayfield have blown hot and cold so far and are mid table.

A week's rest has seen the players shake off niggling injuries and knocks and the team is in tip top condition and raring to get back on the field.

West Hull are just above Mayfield in the table having played two more games but they haven’t scored as many points and they have shown some defensive frailties leaking in more tries than any of the top six.

The Mayfield NWML side is at home against Manchester Rangers.

Both sides are in the bottom three with Manchester at the foot of the table with just one win.

With a couple of NCL players in the team, the added experience these players give should be enough to see Mayfield home in what is expected to be a tight contest.
