Littleborough Veterans over 45s national champions

Littleborough Veterans football team have become the National Veterans over 45 champions after winning the title at Lilleshall.
The game started in favour of Littlebourgh with very little coming from their London opponents.
The only goal of the game came midway through the first half, a cross from the right was met by player/manager Dave Smeaton who beat two opponents to head past the diving keeper.
