Second shows his class as Milnrow defeat Moorside

Milnrow had a fine victory against Moorside with professional Rudi Second again showing his class. His 101 not out was another great innings from him at Ladyhouse.

He took 71 balls for his 50 but 108 for his hundred. He grafted at the start but by the end was placing the ball to all areas of the ground with such fluency and he led Milnrow to their target of 204 with 2.1 overs left.

Earlier, Milnrow had bowled and fielded tightly throughout the Moorside innings without getting the reward of many wickets.

Moorside posted 204 for six with Milnrow always making sure that the Moorside innings did not get away from them.

Brown was the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 30 from his ten overs.

In Milnrow's innings Crabtree scored 28 in supporting Second, Power scored 19 and Helliwell again showed his ability in scoring 20 not out, but it was Second who really delighted the Milnrow crowd with another brilliant performance.
