Norden Primary School win Rochdale AFC Year 1 Schools Cup Tournament

Norden Primary School won the inaugural Rochdale AFC Year One Schools Cup Tournament at Spotland. Hopwood Community Primary School were runners up.
Over 300 children from 27 local primary schools took part.
The children, aged five and six, represented their schools in the tournament and parents were able to spectate from the Main Stand.
Academy Coach Anthony Thompson said: "It has been a fantastic day and great to see so many excited youngsters playing football on the famous Spotland pitch.
"We've spotted a few kids with real potential but more than anything, everybody has had a brilliant day, lots of fun, and this is what football should be all about."
All children received a medal for taking part.
