Imaan’s endeavour pays off

Imaan Alam, 13, a member of Rochdale’s The Dojo Karate Centre, passed her black belt under the watchful eye of Sensei Irfan Ansari.
Imaan has been training at The Dojo for the past five years.
Sensei Ansari said: “Imaan is an outstanding individual who focuses on achieving her goals quietly and without distractions, a key quality that all successful people possess.”
Imaan is also a member of the club's coaching team and hopes to pass her class leader exams soon.
