We're Running For Robinson
Rochdale Football Club is supporting ‘We’re Running for Robinson’, a sprint event organised by students at Hopwood Hall College.
17-year-old Ellis Robinson, who is a former Dale Academy player, suffered a spinal injury whilst playing football in February and is continuing on his long road to recovery.
Taking place at Spotland on Saturday 21 May, money raised will go towards the Team Ellis fund.
There is a £2 fee to enter the Spotland sprint, with prizes for the the fastest in each age group.
All age groups are welcome, but under 7s must be accompanied by an adult. All participants under the age of 16 require a parent/guardian to sign their registration form.
In addition to the main event, there will be fun for all the family:
• Merry-go-round
• Food van
• Prize stalls
• Bouncy castle
• Pony Rides
Registration forms will be available on the day, or by collection from the Rochdale AFC reception.
Turn up on the day to register from 10.30am.
The first race begins at 11.30am.
