Littleborough RUFC Ladies Senior team
Littleborough RUFC has established an open age ladies team to complete the age ranges for women and girls rugby.
The inaugural session for the Pink Warrior ladies took place last Wednesday with eight new players attending and at least five more due to start next week.
The experience ranges from complete novice level to playing at university and established teams in the past.
The ladies did basic drills, ball skills, tackle bags and of course tackle bulldog.
New head coach Dom Fratanale will no doubt increase the technicality of the training as the team develops over time.
A spokesperson said: "The club is very excited about this new venture and the RFU have supported the new team with new balls, bibs and cones to get them started.
"With some development games planned over the summer this team will only grow from strength to strength so if anyone wants to come and join this great new venture please just come on up 7pm-8pm any Wednesday evening.
"No experience needed just a willingness to learn and have some fun."
