Ellenor Macdonald presents a cheque to Jude English
Ellenor Macdonald, Asda Rochdale's Community Champion, presented a cheque for £50 to Jude English of Hamer Amateur Boxing Club after the club came second in the Asda Rochdale Community Fund Raising scheme.
Shoppers were given the chance to vote between three local charities/not for profit organisations and Hamer Boxing Club came second.
Hamer Fund Raiser Sarah English said: "This money means a great deal to Hamer Amateur Boxing Club and Community Fitness Centre. It will help us pay for fuel for the local youngsters who participate and progress throughout the National Boxing Championships. It will also help us maintain our successful work within the community."
