Dale fans representing Team Rochdale at Football to Amsterdam challenge

Date published: 30 March 2016

Rochdale Football Club will have a presence at this year's Football to Amsterdam challenge.
Dale supporters Simon Hammonds and Pete Oliver are representing Team Rochdale, raising money for Prostate Cancer UK.

They'll cycle 145 miles over two days, setting off from Barnsley on 3 June.

The challenge is backed by the Football League and will see hundreds of riders from clubs across the country joining former England internationals Terry Butcher and Viv Anderson on a once in a lifetime pedal-powered pilgrimage to Amsterdam.

The club has set up a Team Rochdale Justgiving Page on behalf of Simon and Pete. By signing up to the challenge, they've pledged to raise £2,000.
