Ellis Robinson: Raising money for paralysed player

Brother Oliver visits Ellis in hospital
Well-wishers have organised several fund raising events in aid of footballer Ellis Robinson who was left paralysed after a freak accident.
Former Rochdale AFC academy player 17-year-old Ellis was paralysed in a training accident at Hathershaw Sports Centre.
Ellis, who lives in Oldham, is currently being treated in the intensive care unit at Salford Royal Hospital. When his situation improves, will be moved to the spinal injuries centre in Southport.
On Saturday from noon, Limeside Lions Rugby Club in Oldham has organised a family fun day at Hollinwood Cricket Club.

Whitebank cafe in Limeside, Oldham is having a raffle for a 40in smart television in aid of Ellis. The TV has been donated by Paul Martin, an Oldham domestic appliances company. Tickets can be bought from the cafe in White Bank Road, Oldham. For information ring 0161 652 9600.
Money raised will help to adapt Ellis’s home.
