The Hopwood Rangers lifted two trophies recently at Lancashire FA’s Disability Football Tournament.
The tournament is the first round of the FA People’s Cup; formed in 2015, the FA People’s Cup is a 5-a-side competition.
This year, Hopwood Hall College Middleton Campus was chosen as the venue.
The tournament was a great success, Tom Conroy, Football Development Officer at the College explains: “All teams that took part played in a good sporting manner, making life easy for the referees.
“It was a bonus to see the Hopwood Rangers play so well and come away with two trophies, securing a place in the regional finals of the FA’s Peoples Cup.
“They are a real credit to Hopwood Hall College, both on and off the pitch.”
