Motorcyclist injured in collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Middleton.
Shortly before midday on Friday 10 August 2012, a red Renault Clio was involved in a collision with a black Honda CBR at the junction of Manchester Old Road and Boardman Lane.
The CBR was being ridden by a 40-year-old man.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment to a serious leg injury and remains in a stable condition.
Police are keen to speak to any witnesses as well as the owner of a white Mercedes Sprinter van – that had the word ‘Dunlops’ on the side - that was parked near to the scene of the collision.
