Retail guru to set up factory in Middleton

Retail expert Mary Portas is setting up a clothing factory in Middleton in a bid to promote the UK manufacturing industry for a new Channel 4 series.
The Queen of all things high street will set up production in the Warwick Mill and it is understood locals will be employed to produce a clothing line.
Reports suggest the series will see Portas attempt to raise awareness about the UK clothing industry and convince shoppers to buy British.
The series is set to air in 2012.
