Cooker fire at Middleton house

Fire engine.
Fire crews were called to the Boarshaw area of Middleton shortly before 4.00pm on Saturday (30 July) following reports of a fire.
On arrival they were faced with a fire involving the cooker in the kitchen of a property on Boarshaw Road.
Fire-fighters from Blackley and Chadderton attended. They used a hose reel, breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan.
