Teenager on robbery charges

An 18-year-old faces court in connection with six robbery offences where cars were targeted.

Arran Crossnan, of Boarshaw Clough Way, Middleton, has been charged with attempted robbery and conspiracy to rob in connection with the attempted robbery of a taxi last Friday (7 August) in Old Hall Street in Middleton.

He is also suspected of four other offences between June 2008 and June 2009, where high-powered cars were targeted and violence was used.
