Roadworks at Middleton M60 junction

Roadworks are set to continue at the Middleton junction of the M60 during weekends until late August.
Between junction 19 (Middleton) and junction 23 (Ashton-under-Lyne) various carriageway and slip road closures will be in place in both directions, with contraflow on the opposite carriageway, over a series of weekends.
Workmen will be digging trenches to investigate problems with surface cracking on the stretch of motorway.
