Cigarette causes Heywood fire

Forgotten smoking materials caused a fire in a Heywood home.
The blaze started in the bedroom of a terraced house on Corry Street, causing extensive damage to the room and smoke damage to other parts of the house.
Fire crews from Heywood attended the blaze at around 2.30am on Thursday morning (31 December 2009).
Three Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel to extinguish the fire.
