Money stolen from butchers

A substantial amount of money was stolen from a butchers in Rochdale.
Sometime between 5.40pm on Wednesday 25 April 2012 and 8.15am on Thursday 26 April 2012, offenders broke into the shop on Hare Hill Road, Littleborough by forcing the lock.
When the owner arrived in the morning, he discovered money had been stolen.
Detective Constable Janice Cruttwell from Rochdale CID said: “I would ask anyone who may have seen someone hanging around the shop or acting in a suspicious manner on the Wednesday or Thursday to get in touch.
“The information you supply will be treated with the strictest of confidence.”
