Littleborough competition winner: David Felton

Date published: 07 October 2010

The winner of September’s ‘Where is Ted?’ competition visited the Rochdale Online studio today (Thursday 7 October 2010).

David Felton, 44, correctly guessed that Ted the office bear was relaxing in Hare Hill Park, Littleborough when our photographer snapped him last month.

Mr Felton, joined by his partner Catherine Webber, 27 and their 21-week-old baby Alfie enjoyed a portrait photo shoot worth £175.

During his childhood Mr Felton spent several weeks in Littleborough, and when he saw the competition photo he knew just where it was.

“My grandparents lived in Littleborough and I used to spend the summer holidays there.

“I have fond memories of the park, it used to have a paddling pool which attracted hundreds of kids, a pitch and put and a bowling green – it was used by everybody!”

This month’s competition shows Ted on his travels somewhere else in the borough of Rochdale.
